Hello dearest readers,
I am thrilled to announce the release of the 2025 Lunar Calendar for sale to the public! If you are a paid subscriber, you already received a message very similar to this last week in the early release.
It is 11x17” on 36#, matte, cardstock paper, printed locally by a small business. A print will be listed at $24 without a frame or $36 with a scroll-style hanging frame (limited supply), plus shipping if needed (typically about $3-6 for shipping depending on location).
If you’d like to purchase one, you have two options:
Send an email to foxhollowfarmco@gmail.com letting me know how many prints you’d like to purchase. Please include a mailing address that you’d like me to send it to. You can pay via PayPal, Venmo, Cashapp, or Zelle (you should be able to find me at foxhollowfarmco@gmail.com on all of these). I will ship the calendars to your as soon as I confirm your order and am able to make a trip to the post office.
Within a week, I will list the calendar in my Etsy shop. This option is less desirable because Etsy charges a listing fee and takes a portion of the sale, but I do understand that some folks may not be comfortable making such a personal purchase, so I will keep Etsy as an option!
This design was made with a hand-carved linoleum block print, printed by hand in my home. After the prints were made, I scanned them into my computer and adjusted the color in Photoshop. The moons were painted using watercolor and were also scanned in. I downloaded a couple of free-to-the-public fonts that I loved and used those in the print as well.
A local print shop, who have printed my calendars the past two years, worked with me to determine the best type of paper and printing process to use. I appreciate the folks at the print shop greatly for being so helpful and expeditious!
With Gratitude!
As another token of my thanks for your continued support of this project, I would love to send out handmade holiday cards and other goodies to paid subscribers. If you’re amenable, I would just need a physical address (sent to me via email or Substack message).
Thank you, thank you, and thank you again for your support. I don’t know if you realize how much it means to me and how much it keeps this project going!
Happiest holidays,
Allyson
